The large yard is fully fenced and has a Pizza Oven that can be used during non fire ban days. Either bring your own wood or we can supply for $25 / bag.
Heating and Cooling
Sabine’s Place is a large stone cottage, fully fenced, dog friendly block. Koalas are regularly in the gums at the rear of the property. An outdoor covered patio offers a barbecue. As a great winter option (May - October) we have a pizza oven. 2 minutes drive from Kingscote Sabine‘s place is right on the beach, overlooking Nepean Bay. You can walk along the beach in either direction through this special bird sanctuary and spot black swans, pelicans and when you are lucky a black glossy cockatoo.
The walking/biking trail starts right across the road. Turn left and head into Kingscote past the Yacht club which offers a great beach. Or arrive at the Tidal Pool for a safe swim. Visit Hope Cottage Museum via a coffee shop, have a rest at Bay of Shoals Wines. There's a chance you spot a Fur Seal, a Penguin, even a whale in the winter months. Turn right on the trail and find Kingscote Golf Club just 2 minutes away.
